Seafront holiday rentals at Saint-Efflam, Plestin-les-Grèves
“Ker an Trez” means “the house on the shore” in Breton. The villa was built in the early 20th century facing the Lieue de Grève, in schist and granite, in a neo-Gothic style: a balcony gallery, a pointed-arch porch, carved gables and an annex that looks like a small chapel. It is listed in the Brittany cultural heritage inventory. You will find it at Saint-Efflam, in the commune of Plestin-les-Grèves (Côtes-d’Armor), at the end of the long beach.
The house is split into three self-contained homes, each with its own entrance and equipped kitchen. La Capitainerie, on the second floor, sleeps 4 and looks out over the whole bay. L’Équipage is a sea-view duplex for 3. La Lune de Miel is a little cottage for two with a raised terrace facing the beach. The garden, laundry room and carport are shared. Good to know: there is no wifi and no TV.
Right outside the house you have the beach, the GR34 coastal path, a playground and a café-grocery for your morning bread. In summer, food trucks sell galettes and cider. The sailing centre is 750 m away and Plestin village is under 3 km, with its shops, a Sunday-morning market and a Tuesday night market in summer. Locquirec and the north of Finistère are close by. Morlaix is 30 minutes away, Ploumanac’h and the Pink Granite Coast 40 minutes.
